Our legal status
You can verify who you are travelling with
In Türkiye, providing transfer and tour services requires an official authorisation. We keep our certificate numbers visible on every page so you can verify who you are travelling with.
- D2 authorisation certificate
- to be supplied by the operator
- TÜRSAB licence no
- to be supplied by the operator
- Tax number
- to be supplied by the operator
Certificate numbers are verifiable claims. Getting them wrong carries both legal and reputational risk, so they are not published until supplied by the operator. Once provided they are updated in a single configuration file and this notice disappears on its own.
Why we publish this
Airport transport in Istanbul is associated with a trust problem that has reached the international press: meters left off, fares set by negotiation, unlicensed vehicles working the terminal doors. The problem is real, and our guests have usually read about it before they reach us.
So we publish our authorisations not as buried corporate detail but as part of the service. An unlicensed operator cannot produce this page, and that is precisely why it is worth producing.
Frequently asked questions
Which licences are required to provide transfer services in Türkiye?
Passenger transport for tourism purposes requires a D2 authorisation, and under Travel Agencies Act no. 1618 offering tours and transfers also requires working with a TÜRSAB-licensed agency. We publish our certificate numbers at the foot of every page.
How do I protect myself from unlicensed transport?
Book the vehicle in advance and get the driver's name, phone number and plate before you travel. Do not get into a car with someone who approaches you in the terminal offering to negotiate; in a booked vehicle there is nothing to negotiate because the price is already locked.
Are passengers insured?
Our vehicles carry passenger seat insurance in addition to the legally required cover. Policy details will be published on this page once confirmed by the operator.
