Road VIP Transfer
A transfer vehicle on the motorway leaving the city at night.

Transfer services

Intercity transfer

On an intercity journey the real problem is not the vehicle, it is the gap at either end. A coach leaves you at a terminal, and the terminal is not where you were going; a train departs at a set hour, and your plan has to bend to that hour.

A private transfer removes both constraints: door to door, and you choose the departure time. The table below states the kilometres, the minutes and the euros for each destination, so there is no quotation to wait for.

In short

This service in numbers

  • Roadviptransfer runs intercity private transfers from Istanbul to the provinces of Sakarya, Kocaeli, Bursa, Yalova, Bolu, Tekirdağ and Edirne.

  • On intercity transfers, bridge, tunnel and motorway tolls and fuel are included in the price, and no payment is requested along the way.

  • Since the Osmangazi Bridge and the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge opened, road journeys to destinations around the Sea of Marmara no longer depend on a ferry timetable.

  • Intercity transfers booked as a return receive a discount off the total amount.

One way, return, or hire

If you are staying overnight, the outward and return legs are two separate journeys; booking them together takes a discount off the total and saves you looking for a car again on the way back.

If you are returning the same day and will need the car at the destination, the arithmetic changes: having the car wait for you is usually cheaper than two separate transfers. In that case daily hire is the right product, and we work out together at booking which one fits your day.

What changes on a long drive

On drives over two hours the break plan is part of the job. Service areas along the route are agreed in advance, and break time is not counted inside the stated journey time, so stopping does not make you late.

In winter the road towards Bolu and Abant is a mountain road, and the vehicle and tyre choice changes with the conditions. On dates where snow is likely we say so at booking and, if needed, suggest an earlier departure. If weather forces us to cancel the journey, the fare is refunded.

Destination

Where, how long, how much

Price follows the band, not the odometer: every destination inside a band costs the same. Amounts are one way from Istanbul in the sedan class; van and minibus scale by the same ratio.

ŞileThe closest seaside town to Istanbul, on the Black Sea coast; in summer it is a day trip with an evening return.72 km70–95 min
AğvaKnown for the boutique hotels where two rivers meet the sea; public transport is awkward, so almost everyone arrives by car.96 km95–120 min

YalovaKnown for its thermal springs; since the Osmangazi Bridge opened, the road journey has been more predictable than the ferry.124 km105–140 min
SapancaThe centre of the weekend escape, with its lakeside bungalow hotels; the hotels are scattered up the hillside, so the last kilometres are hard without a car.140 km110–145 min
BursaThe first Ottoman capital, the Uludağ cable car and Cumalıkızık; the city is spread out, so moving between sights during the day needs a car.155 km130–165 min
İznikA walled lakeside town and the source of the Ottoman tile tradition; reaching it by public transport takes two changes.172 km135–170 min
Long-distance destinationsBusiness Sedan, One way€300
EdirneThe Selimiye Mosque and the Bulgarian and Greek border crossings; one-way transfers are often requested by travellers heading for the border.235 km165–195 min
AbantThe lake plateau above Bolu; when snow falls the final stretch is a mountain road and requires winter tyres.272 km200–240 min
ÇanakkaleThe Gallipoli Peninsula and Troy; since the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge opened, the journey no longer depends on a ferry timetable.318 km255–290 min

The band price is flat, so a destination at the far end of a band costs less per kilometre. Distances are measured from central Istanbul and change with your pickup address; durations include bridge and motorway crossings but exclude stops. A round trip takes a discount off the total.

Istanbul Airport → Sapanca180 km

Route taken
East on the North Marmara Motorway and over the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, running north of the Gulf of İzmit into Sakarya. Two rest stops are possible along the motorway, and on a journey this long that time is planned from the start.
What happens on arrival
The bungalows and lake houses around Sapanca are scattered around the shore, and satellite positioning is often unreliable at hillside addresses. Giving the exact name of the property at booking, and a location link where possible, saves half an hour of searching in the dark.
Public transport alternative
The high-speed train reaches Arifiye, from where a taxi is needed; getting to the station inside Istanbul and making the change is what makes this awkward for a family with luggage.

Istanbul Airport → Bursa155 km

Route taken
South on the North Marmara Motorway and across the Gulf of İzmit on the Osmangazi Bridge. That bridge takes roughly an hour off the journey compared with driving around the gulf, and its toll is included in the price.
What happens on arrival
Bursa is spread out: the base station of the Uludağ cable car, the historic bazaar and Cumalıkızık are far apart. Which one you are heading for is settled at booking, because moving between them inside the city takes half an hour.
Public transport alternative
A sea bus from Yenikapı to Mudanya and then the road into Bursa. It is cheaper, but it means two transfers and a fixed timetable, tying a day trip to the ferry's schedule.

Frequently asked questions

Is the price per person or per vehicle?

Per vehicle. Whether one person or four travels to Sapanca, the amount in the same class is identical, which closes the gap with a coach fare quickly on an intercity run.

Can you go to a city that is not on the list?

The destinations in the table are the most requested ones, not a limit. Message us on WhatsApp for another province and a fixed price based on the distance comes back the same day.

Can I travel from the airport directly to another city?

Yes, and it is the most requested intercity service. Your flight is tracked, the driver waits in arrivals with a name board and the journey runs straight to the destination city, with no need to stop overnight in Istanbul.
