Wedding car

On a wedding day transport is the most invisible and the most fragile part of the plan. The ceremony has a fixed hour, the photographs run long, the venue is in another district, and all of it lands in a single day, one thing after another.

So we set up a wedding car as hire rather than as a transfer: the car and driver stay with you all day, the run sheet is written to the minute in advance, and you are not chasing a vehicle for each address.

In short

This service in numbers

  • Wedding cars are booked as hourly or daily hire; the run sheet is written in advance and the driver works to it.

  • Wedding bookings carry a backup vehicle guarantee: if anything unexpected happens to the planned car, a vehicle of the same class takes over.

  • Alongside the couple's car, van and minibus classes for guests can be planned under the same booking.

  • Decoration of the car is left to the couple; if it is being done, a time window is planned before the car is handed over.

How the run sheet is written

A few days before the wedding the addresses and times are written out one by one: the bride's home, the register office, the photo locations, the venue and the return at the end of the night. The time between each pair of addresses is calculated separately, because in Istanbul the same two points can be twenty minutes apart at noon and fifty in the evening.

A margin is added at every step. Its purpose is not to absorb delay but to stop delay from eating the next step: if the photographs run half an hour long, the ceremony hour must not come under threat.

Getting the guests there

Out-of-town guests are the most scattered part of a wedding day: different flights, different hours, different hotels. Those pickups can be gathered under one booking, with each flight tracked separately.

If the venue is outside the city or parking is limited, a minibus solves the collective return for guests. The end-of-night departure time is planned from the start, because looking for a car when the wedding ends is the hardest moment of the day.

Istanbul Airport → Beşiktaş45 km

Route taken
The route joins the TEM from the North Marmara Motorway and drops down Barbaros Boulevard from Zincirlikuyu. During the morning peak that descent runs against the commuter flow, so a car arriving from the airport moves in the empty lane.

Public transport alternative
Beşiktaş has no metro station of its own. Public transport means the M11 to Gayrettepe and then a bus or a walk down. With suitcases that descent is steep and long.

Istanbul Airport → Şişli40 km

Route taken
After the North Marmara Motorway and the Hasdal-Okmeydanı link, the route climbs to Halaskargazi Avenue through Bomonti.

Public transport alternative
This is the easiest public transport run in the city: the M11 to Gayrettepe, one change to the M2 and a single stop to Şişli-Mecidiyeköy. Travelling light, the metro is genuinely a good option here; the private car earns its place with heavy luggage and at night.

Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should I reserve the car?

Wedding cars fill up early in summer and at weekends, so we recommend booking as early as you can. The run sheet does not have to be final at that point; the hours can be updated later.

Can we decorate the car?

Yes. Decoration follows the couple's or the planner's choice, and there is no restriction as long as it does not damage the paint or bodywork. The time needed for it is added to the run sheet.

Can we add a second vehicle on the day?

Subject to availability, yes, though telling us about guest vehicles from the start is always safer. Several vehicles can be planned under one booking and coordinated through a single point of contact.
